Tour Manager Jobs

For a contract with PDM as tour manager applicants must complete a company internal training. This already starts with the interview where PDM and its partners are introduced and in particular what the job is about and what the tasks and duties of the applicants will be during the trip.
In a second round of interviews the applicants must give a lecture on the topics assigned to them. From the feedback to these lectures you get a feeling for what is important and how best to cater for a group.


In addition, for the successful candidates there will be a training trip through Europe, where practical things can be exercised, like e.g. speaking into a microphone, check-in and check-out, guiding a group through different cities and the cooperation with the bus driver.

During several seminars in spring the future tour managers will learn what they have to pay attention to when they, among other things, represent PDM in front of service providers and customers, how they must react in emergency situations, and will receive detailed information on the large cities and the relative programs.

In two different handovers the tour managers will receive all the necessary forms and documents and their support person will familiarize them with the tour. Here you have the possibility to clear up any questions and to meet experienced colleagues. If required you will receive a satellite navigation system.
